Hot Crossed Buns. I posted a hot cross buns recipe a couple of days ago. I have tried the recipe and the dough failed to rise. My yeast was fresh, so it possibly was the method used in this recipe. It did not require you to “proof the yeast” Proofing is basically adding yeast
to liquid to make sure it is still active. Any way, I am going to attempt this hot cross buns recipe! Happy baking!
